Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Role description
    To fulfill the expectations of Eko by achieving aggressive business targets for the assigned territory. To establish and maintain an effective Distribution & Retailer network in assigned territory.
Responsibilities
  • Understand the fundamentals of the business and build a clear strategic road map, keeping in mind the long term strategic directions of the region.
  • Developing marketing plans, defining promotional activities, executing activities and measuring results.
  • Act as a customer champion and business development leader
  • Actively manage and report on pipeline, status of the business, and forecast revenue.
  • Meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Make outgoing sales calls seeking new clients
  • Handle incoming calls and successfully answer questions from customers and prospects
  • Build and maintain client relationships through attentive customer service in order to grow the sales in a territory
  • Participate positively and actively in weekly, monthly and annual sales meetings and company functions as appropriate
Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required. MBA in the field of sales and marketing is preferred.
  • Experience in a sales role, as a front-runner, groundbreaker is required. At least 4-6 years of experience.
  • Able to communicate about company vision and solutions as well as match specific customer requirements to those visions, delivering on the promise of the vision.
  • Understands how to leverage relationships in support of sales, referrals and account growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipeline to meet both short- and long-term sales goals
  • Candidate having prior experience and demonstrated ability in managing such work in a start-up phase would be ideal.

  • Very sound functional / business knowledge(Preferably in area of telecom/finance/retail services/FMCG)
