Abhishek Sinha
CEO
Abhishek believes in creation of wealth and degrees of freedom. He started his career with Satyam Computers and worked for their telecom division for couple of years. In 2002, he co-founded Six DEE Telecom Solutions, a telecom value added services company. He grew this business to span nine countries and fifteen operators. He implemented m-commerce products in the last start-up and always wondered why the focus was not on serving customers who had no bank accounts and cards. He exited Six DEE in February 2007 to pursue his vision to promote mobile phones as a financial identity for people at the bottom of the pyramid which was further validated when he won the TIE-Canaan Entrepreneurial Challenge, 2006.
Abhishek holds a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
Anand Raman
Chief Marketing Officer
Anand has over 17 years of experience spanning Media, Telecom and IT businesses. He enjoys diversity, having donned varying hats from Business and Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Software consulting. He is deeply passionate about mass market consumer offerings, is obsessed with brands and is a great believer in technology as an enabler of access and inclusion.
In his last role, he was responsible for B2B/B2C interactivity and content initiatives for Star India’s mobile entertainment division. Fourteen years on, his journey in telecom continues to be exciting; his tryst with Telecom started as a developer of software applications for BT and ignited his growth to the head of value added services for Idea Cellular.
As CMO at Eko, Anand is fulfilling his long cherished dream to be part of a start-up and build a consumer brand from scratch.
Anand holds a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from IIT Roorkee.
Harish Lodhwal
Chief Technology Officer
Harish is a firm believer of creating high quality technology for everyone.
He started his career with Computers Science Corporation India in 1998. In his last role he was heading technology development and operations for IndiaMart.com. His 12 years of experience includes DE Shaw, Sun Microsystems and some mid-size firms. Harish's comprehensive background includes domains like Supply Chain Management, Insurance, Travel, B2B, online marketing and Hedge Funds. His industry expertise includes Retail, Manufacturing and Investment Banking. He has an exceptional balance of business and technical expertise.
Harish holds a B Tech in EE with specialization in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT, Bombay.
Abhinav Sinha
VP – Business Development
Abhinav started with a stint at Oracle in Hyderabad as an Application Engineer for two years. Abhinav left Oracle and joined a startup, Six DEE Telecom Solutions as product manager for their Online Recharge Platform. Abhinav grew his one man online recharge team to ten people. This team developed and supported installation of the product across different operators and countries.
Abhinav graduated from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra in 2003 with a BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Anupam Varghese
VP - R&D
Anupam Varghese is a mobile software technologist with over six years experience in developing solutions for the fourth screen. Anupam was a co-founder and the CTO at Tinfo Mobile- a niche mobile games and applications studio. He brings to Eko a deep understanding of usability and customer-device interface aspects. He has been the architect of many award winning innovations like India's first m-learning initiative, the first CSR program to be launched by an Indian operator aimed at making features like SMS and Call History accessible to the visually impaired and the first adver-game to win an Abby Gold in the Digital Innovation category. In his spare time he also maintains an interesting technology blog and likes observing people and situations for creating novel solutions.
Anupam holds a B.Tech (2001) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from (REC) Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar (now known as NIT, National Institute of Technology).
Mugdha Bhargava
VP – Communications
Mugdha has a fondness to interact with people and it is this enthusiasm that she endeavors to bring to her work. Having stayed at places all over India, she has worked in various capacities in communication and educational fields. She has had a stint in Sanket Communications Private Limited as a copywriter and with Isango India Private Limited as a content writer for product merchandising. She has been actively involved in emceeing and choreographing events for the Indian Air Force and has been the secretary of the Air Force Wives Welfare Organization which involved both counselling and communicating with people from all strata of society. She has authored English Language books for children and written and directed plays and dance dramas for a number of schools. Her forte is her ability to communicate complex concepts with the help of simple and creative aids.
She has done her M.Com from Mumbai University, B.Ed from IGNOU and is a gold medalist in Public Relations from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai.
Pooja Kumar
VP – Products
Pooja started her career at American Express with Customer Management. She then joined the Institutional Risk Management division within American Express where she conceptualized & developed BASEL II compliant Institutional Risk Rating Framework for exposures across business units, functions & regions for American Express Worldwide. Her passion & belief in the power of financial inclusion as a sustainable poverty alleviation tool led her to join Ujjivan (an Urban MFI). She was a part of the core team responsible for setting up Ujjivan's operations in Delhi. As the Product & Credit Manager at Ujjivan she designed & implemented product programs. During her tenure she also created a framework for Credit Plus (non-financial) activities to be undertaken by Ujjivan Delhi.
Pooja has a Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics & Bachelors in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi University).
Biswajit enjoys the challenges of working in an innovative environment. With over 12 years of work experience, he is adept at working effectively within a multi-disciplined team. Prior to joining Eko he was at CTI Travels Pvt Ltd. where he played a key role in operations. His responsibilities included client servicing of corporate houses, liaison with the media, organizing conferences and events for corporate houses and meeting sales targets.
Biswajit has graduated in Commerce from Ranchi University, Bihar and has a Diploma in Marketing and Sales Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Kolkatta.
Mansi began her career with SKS Microfinance Pvt. Ltd. in the Business Development Team, as the Project Manager of the Urban Microfinance Initiative. She conceptualized the urban product based on primary and secondary research and piloted the same in Hyderabad. After the successful pilot of the product, she moved on to launch it in other cities in co-ordination with Member Services. She then moved to Member Services as Area Manager, NCR.
Mansi is a Post-graduate in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University.
